Going into the Burnley game, expectations were rock bottom. The former Chelsea FC defender hadn’t played competitively since April and was being labelled everything from “rusty” to “disaster”.
Then he played the full 90.
And honestly? I was pleasantly surprised.
Against Burnley FC, Disasi looked strong, commanding and far more composed than we’ve seen from other defensive options recently. Yes — it’s early days. Yes — it was a decent bedding-in fixture. But the signs are encouraging.

Tbf I was wary about disasi his lack of game time worried me a lot. But he was good I know only Burnley see how he does against Utd

I went to school by West Ham Park(St Bon’s) our PE Teacher was West Ham’s Centre Half Alan Cushley, he was Billy NcNeil’s understudy at Celtic, sports day we had the senior football team playing the staff, Cushley was fuming as he was getting the runner round by a 15 year old and was told to leave the pitch as he was losing the plot 😂
Disasi wasn’t noticeable yesterday, which is a good thing. Did his job with no frills and no mistakes. Hopefuls keeps it simple and effective against MU too.
A season isn’t defined after 23 games but 38!! If we keep our form going we’ll survive? Need a result v Manure though?

It puts our center backs to shame really when a guy can come in from the wilderness, who hasnt played in 10 months and puts in a solid performance! Disasi has a real presence about him. Mav was good yesterday too. I'm still not sure on Hermansen and i think that it could be a mistake starting him against United. He just doesnt look big enough to be a Premier League keeper
