Arsenal have become even bigger favourites to win the Premier League title after beating Sunderland 3-0.
Mikel Arteta’s side are now nine points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table, and if Pep Guardiola’s men slip up against Liverpool at Anfield, the title race could be over.
Paul Merson has already claimed that this is the weekend that will make Arsenal champions, and he could well be right.
Now, Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris has had his say.

Regis Le Bris backs Arsenal to win the Premier League title
Arsenal have found themselves in a tremendous position in the title race.
The Gunners finished second in each of the last three seasons, and the pressure was on Arteta and his men to right the wrongs of the previous campaigns.
Almost everyone backed Liverpool to retain their Premier League title at the start of the season, but Arsenal have been the best team in the country by a mile.
Sunderland learned that the hard way at the Emirates on Saturday, and their manager, Le Bris, hailed the North Londoners after the game.

He said in his press conference, as relayed on HaytersTV: “They are impressive, really well organised, hard to beat, many threats coming off the bench as well.
“This depth is really important, especially with wingers and creative players, because they can make the difference in the game.
“Often, the game is a bit different (when substitutes come on) because the players are a bit more tired, and when you have those players (on Arsenal’s bench), you can go all the way, and they were impressive.”
Le Bris was then asked if this Arsenal squad can win the title. He replied without any hesitation: “Yeah, I think so.”

Arsenal have shown this season that they can beat any side on their day.
The Gunners are comfortably the best team in the Premier League right now, and they are right up there in Europe as well.
If Manchester City drop points against Liverpool, the title race could be over, but Arsenal still need to be careful in the coming weeks.
That is because four of their next five league fixtures are away from home. That includes the North London Derby against Tottenham Hotspur.

Arteta will definitely remind his side that they cannot get complacent and drop their level, irrespective of what happens with Manchester City.
