  1. Most of the money City spend is under the table … most big Clubs could have afforded Halaand's release Clause but could not sign him for a reason.

  2. Net transfer spending is a poor indicator of a club's expenditure. Agency fees and signing bonuses are not included in this figure. In addition, salaries play an important role in a club's total expenditure. You did a great job there, Tom!

  3. I don't listen or watch a lot of Peps interviews or press conferences since he has been at Man City but it comes across over the last few years, Pep seems to really be bothered about the high spend to success talk around him. Almost as if he listens or reads all the chat about his Man City legacy and has a underlying bitter issue over what people are saying. I get the feeling Pep will go for a rest when he leaves and then try to manage a team with less financial pull to prove a point.

  4. What really gets me annoyed is when I hear rival fans lie and say Arteta has been here 7 yrs no trophy, when they know goddamn well that the first two years of his tenure was revamping and building a team and the year we “challenged” (22/23) wasn’t expected or planned for because we were trying to qualify for champions league spots, in reality we’ve been challenging for three years just around the same time klopp won his first title for Liverpool.

The lying is just so weird for a team that these rival fans are “not worried about” and that “won’t win anything”

  5. 16:36 exactly! There are so many aspects of club expenditures that people don’t realize account for how much a club spends. Wages + transfer fees + agent fees + bonuses + contract renewals to keep said players all come into account. But people love to ignore that.

  6. I'll take you all back to may 1980. A 12yr boy watched his beloved Arsenal lose the league to Liverpool on Sat,the cup winners cup to Valencia on Wed and the F.A cup on Sat to West ham. I'm still in therapy at 57. Chill people.

  7. Not sure if I missed it, but did you also consider the value of the squad each manager inherited when they took over, may have to adjust this due to inflation, but I would expect this to give pep an even bigger headstart and help sales as well.

  8. Those 25 thousand Wembley tickets will be corporate tickets. The only time I got to see Arsenal play at Wembley was by being given access to such tickets. The price per ticket (paid by the corporate client) was an eye watering 1500 quid and there was still a more expensive tier above that. Crazy stuff! Big Ups to all the TGT fam and have a tip top weekend peeps!!

  9. Liverpool fans are calling us "set peice fc" but they don't won't to mention Liverpool has had the European goals from corners record for years, 22 goals in a season, a record they've been proud of. Arsenal have equaled that record and with plenty of games left we should supass it, that's why their hating 😂.

  10. On behalf of Arsenal Football Club, it’s players and fans I would like to issue Chelsea Football Club a sincere apology and a promise to ensure that when we play in the final at Wembley we will in no way warm up on their side of the pitch.

  11. This is the first time I have ever made a disingenuous post regarding you, Tom.. You have read Pep's words out, quote-for-quote; you're intelligent enough to understand that he was saying it with a tongue-in-cheek. You are usually so good at not falling into the MSM dross.

  12. Hi Tom, Net transfer spend is the only thing that PEP can rely on in order to deflect from the 115 charges, and also to take the spotlight off City and place it on the other clubs in the top 6…

  13. Arsenal keep losing U21's for nothing Hayden Heaven, Chido Obi-Martin (both to Utd.) Even Patino went for nothing, Maitland -Niles Arteta turned down £25m to let him go for Nothing. ESR went too cheap, We lost Tomiyasu for nothing. On the other hand, City are owners of other clubs, so sell between themselves at inflated values. Chelsea do same.

  14. The “Elephant” is the reason Pep is trying to change the narrative! Making Arsenal the bad actor is right out of the deflection playbook! 115 is an indictment on what the PL actually thinks of Man City’s behavior during his tenure! Pep keep crowing and Arsenal we’ll keep winning!

  15. Good Friday morning to you Tom! When I hear the various streams of negativity I envision old hags nattering away about anything and everything at the back fence.

  16. Hi Tom, I've just seen a resverse angle of Califiori running on the pitch to celebrate Havertz goal. Technically, that goal shouldn't actually count. If you pause it right, he's on the pitch before the ball crosses the line. We had 12 players on the pitch, goal ruled out. I know this wouldn't matter in this scenario as we had the lead already, but imagine a Champions league final, subs get emotional and run on too early like this, winning goal could technically be ruled out 🔴⚪️
