The 18 year old academy graduate has only been unavailable one matchday squad in the Championship so far during his first full senior season.
His last start was in the 1-1 draw at Birmingham in December, but he has appeared as a substitute in four of the last six Championship outings.
Eckert detailed that Robinson’s injury will keep him out of the 12:31pm kick-off against the Hornets, who visit St Mary’s with no full-time manager.
He said: “Jay Robinson has some minor issues with his quad, so Jay is not going to be involved tomorrow, but that shouldn’t be a long-term thing.
Defender Mads Roerslev is continuing to suffer from Achilles bursitis and was set to see a specialist on Friday, having been sidelined since November.
“The only one who is seeing a specialist is Mads,” said Eckert. “We need to see how we can continue and how quickly we can start to load him again.
“For the rest of the players, the squad is looking good. It’s always easier after a win with some days off, but we will need to be on top form tomorrow.”
