President of business operations Jim Frevola exclusively told the Daily Echo after plans were approved that the Cherries faithful would start to see progress immediately – and the club have lived up to those words.

Fans coming to Dean Court for this Saturday’s game against Aston Villa will notice some changes.

One major change for supporters who headed to the Kings and Park Plaza area before games will be that this will no longer operate on a match day, due to works needed behind the south stand.

An interim food and drink area will open at both the external corners of the south stand for pre-match and at halftime.

Concourses will open two hours before kick off to allow supporters to meet under cover, while fans who are sitting in the Ted MacDougall stand are encouraged to arrive as early as possible due to the works in the area.

The DC Lounge will operate from Bar 1 as usual, with the Junior Fanzone now opening half-an-hour earlier.

Elsewhere, the changing places facility has been relocated to the east stand’s outer perimeter.

This location has been decided working with the AFC Bournemouth Disabled Supporters Association, and it will continue to be operated by the welfare team to provide support to anyone who needs it during the match.

Over the coming months, the club are asking fans to help with the works by arriving to the stadium early and keeping up to date with information as it is released.

This can be done on the club website, and the Daily Echo will help fans to stay up to date with regular updates on the progress of the works.
