The previous branch shut its doors in January 2025 after WH Smiths closed in Old Christchurch Road.
Post Office has announced it will be opening a new site within a cards and stationary store in 24 Post Office Road, Bournemouth.
It is set to open on Wednesday, May 20 at 1pm.
A spokesperson for Post Office said the new site will restore services to the area after the previous operator resigned.
The new branch is said to have an experienced postmaster takeover.
Customers will be able to do a full range of services, the same as before, and the store will provide 44 hours of service each week.
It will be open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and on Saturday from 9am to 1pm.
