Aston Villa spent around £40 million on transfer and loan fees in the winter window

Aston Villa have completed their winter transfer business.

The club recruited four new players over the past four weeks, while Leon Bailey was recalled from his loan spell at AS Roma.

Brian Madjo is currently training with the first-team but, at just 17 years old, is considered one for the future.

Alysson, Villa’s first winter arrival, is set to be given his opportunity once he recovers from injury.

Tammy Abraham and Douglas Luiz, meanwhile, both started in Villa’s 1-0 home defeat to Brentford on Sunday.
