Australia captain Sam Kerr is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in women’s football and has won four Women’s Super Leagues with the London club.
Her wife, Kristie Mewis, played for city rivals West Ham United before moving on to Gotham FC, as well as representing the United States of America on the international level.
The couple got married in a New Year’s Eve ceremony in the Swan Valley near Kerr’s hometown of Perth.

Now it has been revealed that the pair chose one of Oxfordshire’s most exclusive country retreats for part of her luxury honeymoon with new wife Kristie Mewis.
Recently checking in to Estelle Manor in North Leigh near Witney, housed in a Grade II-listed former stately home.
Kerr and Mewis shared glimpses of their stay with followers on social media, posting pictures from their honeymoon that showed them relaxing together after the high-profile wedding.
Fans have been quick to pick up clues from the interiors and countryside backdrops, linking the images to Estelle Manor and its surrounding Cotswolds landscape.

The hotel’s original house dates back to the 1770s, covering a whopping 60 acres in total.
It has become a favourite for celebrity visits, with many stars making the trip to Oxfordshire to stay inside the historic building.
Pitch Perfect movie star Rebel Wilson was spotted at the location back in 2024, and she also visited Jeremy Clarkson’s farm in Chadlington.
As recently as this weekend, it was reported by The Sun that Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton had stayed together at the Oxfordshire hotel.
