Pair jailed for more than 30 years after using cars as weapons to hunt and kill

Zoe Treadwell, 36 and of Bournemouth, killed 28-year-old Joey Johnstone after deliberately crashing into him with her Range Rover in West Howe in April last year.
Jonjay Harrison, 25 and of Bournemouth, attempted to murder a man and caused grievous bodily harm to another by purposely driving into their motorbike a few weeks later.
Treadwell was found guilty of orchestrating the second crash and was sentenced to murder, attempted murder and causing grievous bodily harm.
She was jailed for life, with a minimum term of 35 years.
Harrison was jailed for 32 years.
Chret Callender
Bournemouth man raped woman despite protest

Chret Callender, 28 and of Bournemouth, raped a woman while she recorded the ordeal.
It was said that Callender turned up to the woman’s home uninvited, prompting her to begin a recording on her phone out of fear of verbal abuse.
However, Callender went on to sexually assault and then rape her.
The court heard that Callender sought asylum in Bournemouth after travelling from Trinidad but was rejected by the Home Office in April last year.
He was jailed for seven years and may face deportation by the Home Office.
Maksims Pilko
Thug stabbed man nine times in random town centre attack

Maksims Pilko, 22 and of Bournemouth, stabbed a man nine times in Bournemouth town centre after attacking the victim’s girlfriend.
He initially punched the woman in the face in February last year on Richmond Hill, prompting the victim to step in.
A fight broke out when Pilko revealed a flick knife and stabbed the man several times.
He also accidentally stabbed himself in the leg.
The man was left in an induced coma after the attack.
Pilko was jailed for eight years and one month, with an extended four years on licence.
Manus Doherty and Brandon Falshaw-Skelly
Group attacked and stabbed man after he ‘sexually assaulted girl’

Manus Doherty, 18, and Brandon Falshaw-Skelly, 20, both of Bournemouth, attacked a man in Old Christchurch Road after he reportedly sexually assaulted a teenage girl.
CCTV showed four men and the girl interacting positively with the victim, when he touched her inappropriately.
It resulted in a fight breaking out and the group assaulting the man.
The victim pulled out a knife and attempted to swipe at Falshaw-Skelly, after he pushed him from behind.
The man was then attacked on the floor, when Doherty stabbed him three times.
Doherty was sentenced to two years and nine months in a young offenders institute.
Falshaw-Skelly was jailed for one year and three months in a young offenders institute.
William Evans
Man left 12-year-old girl ‘broken’ after repeatedly sexually assaulting her
William Evans, now aged 21 and of Poole, sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl on at least two occasions when he was 19-years-old.
In September 2023 Evans was caught after a member of the public witnessed him touching the girl inappropriate and phoned the police.
Police later found a video on Evans’ phone of him performing a sexual act in front of the girl.
In a victim impact statement the girl said she feels “completely broken” and suffers from flashbacks.
Evans was jailed for four and a half years.
Claudine Preston
Carer stole over £15k from elderly dementia patient ‘for no good reason’

Claudine Preston, 51 and of Christchurch, stole over £15,000 from an elderly dementia patient while working as a carer.
Over 18 months she used the 85-year-old’s bank card to pay for her own shopping and withdraw cash.
The victim had no nearby family or friends and was housebound without the help of a carer.
The court heard that to this day the man is still ‘blissfully unaware’ of Preston’s actions, but is running out of funds for his care.
Preston was jailed for two years and three months and ordered to pay full compensation under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
Ibrahim Sollaku
Man caught plotting to smuggle Albanian migrants to UK to pay gambling debts

Ibrahim Sollaku, 33 and of Southampton, plotted to smuggle five men from Belgium to the UK with an undercover police officer in Bournemouth.
The court heard how Sollaku is an Albanian national and entered the UK illegally in 2016 by lorry.
The defendant unknowingly attempted to plot the smuggling of five men from Belgium to the UK with an undercover police officer.
Once the migrants were in the lorry, Belgium police swooped in and arrested those involved while Sollaku was arrested in Bournemouth.
Sollaku was jailed for 10 years.
