Leicester City academy graduate Brandon Cover has joined League One side Rotherham United on a permanent deal in a late deadline-day move.
Cover, who made his only senior appearance for City in the FA Cup against Birmingham two seasons ago, has been playing for the Under-21s this term but was on the bench for the first time this campaign during Saturday’s 2-0 loss to Charlton.
A defensive midfielder as he made his way through the ranks, Cover has played a lot of football at right-back over the past couple of years, and it was where he featured most often during spells out on loan last season.
In the first half of the campaign, he played 20 games for Port Vale, scoring twice, before moving to fellow League Two club Fleetwood, where he made eight appearances.

However, upon his return to City this summer, he was not able to break into the first-team ranks.
Since his initial City breakthrough, he has become a full Jamaica international.
Now 22, he will get a chance to kick on his career with Rotherham, who are fighting relegation in League One.
After 28 games, they are outside of the bottom four on goal difference, having won back-to-back fixtures to lift themselves out of the drop zone.
