Fulham have restarted talks to sign PSV Eindhoven striker Ricardo Pepi, who is valued at just over £30m.
The USA international was subject of a £28m bid just over a week ago but the Whites then changed focus to signing Oscar Bobb from Manchester City.
Sources insist no agreement has yet been found despite Fulham being just a few million away from the Dutch club’s asking price.
Pepi, 23, is keen on the move, but much will depend on whether PSV can secure a replacement as negotiations over the fee near a conclusion.
