  1. if Carrick can bring us back to Champions League and maybe challenge Arsenal for the title, maybe Carrick should be given a one year contract to see what he is capable to do for a full season rather than reboot again under another new head coach

  2. Sky sports being sky sports as usual, are they capable? United could win the league with them players providing the right manager is in charge! Same as Liverpool or arsenal! Anyone can have a winning run, this is just for viewing numbers, and no I didnt watch it, just commented on sky being sky!!!

  3. No. But they'll give it a go. I think they'll drop points in 3-4 of their remaining 15 games and finish 4-5th. 5th could be enough for champions league football. Next season, they'll probably finish lower, due to the extra games they'll play, compared to the maximum of 40. A record low in over a century

  4. yes like we saw under OLLIE who went on a amazing run! but a run of games isnt a while season nor is it how ou judge a manager on success over a couple of years! when people put in place proper foundations they take a while to build! when you just rock up somewhere and get results on day 1 thats generally because of outside reasons ! clubs make this mistake over and over! take Slot now he when on a run that won him the title and that was called because of someones elses team! well whats carrick doing now! people want to ignore the logic they apply on others for themselves! Time is the judge! not opinions or trust me bro!

  5. Amorim was actually winning matches as well during his time, but he was implementing a new system and required backing for full overhaul, so result was up and down. Carrick is too early to be assessed, no evidence of consistency yet

  6. United have been like this for years no? Beat the big times but then get beat by the likes of palace,.wolves etc πŸ˜……real fans know this so please don't get carried away πŸ˜…

  7. You people should leave united alone to do their job it's like you want them to lose the coming match .
Why don't you focus on other teams we have 20 teams in the premier but all the time united tired

  8. Next 5 games, target 10 points. We won't win them all. A good run may yet get us into Europe, but blimey even that will be tough. This is going to be one of most hotly contested final thirds of the season in terms of European qualification, that I've seen for a very long time. I love that clubs like Villa and Newcastle are doing well also. It makes for a much healthier league. Jury's very much out on Carrick but if we do get some European football next season, surely he would be worthy?

  9. This will be a completely different test. The two previous games were teams that push a high line. These type of teams will be playing a low block and that’ll force us to play in a completely different way. Will soon find out how we handle that type of scenario.

  10. I don't think they can. Because there are players who never seem to understand anything about consistency. Very good examples are Mount and the famous Dalot. Bruno has that syndrome too…………yeah They have to improve big time………Let's see if Carrick can coach them to be like focus on each and every second of each and every match….at least until the end of the season πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™ Then they can sit down and talk.

  11. I think the two victories were fluke. Fulham will beat United narrowly. United are not a good team and just making Carrick the caretaker manager will not change basics

  12. Amorim only won 3 games in a row once during his 14 months in charge.
Carrick has just done in his first 3 games.
Leagues top goal scorers reduced to a single shot on target Dalot cleared – one of Lammens easiest games of his career.
Leagues best defence who play a low block against any team with a decent attack.
Now they've beaten a low block team that is having one of their best seasons in their history.

    Give Carrick the job !
