  1. – The Blues have reportedly sent a verbal €30m bid to Nantes in order to secure their promising – yet raw and error-strewn – 18-year-old defender.

    – Jacquet (20) now heading out to Premier League rivals Liverpool to complete his medical, Chelsea are scrambling to secure Tati’s signing.

    – time is running out for Chelsea for several reasons. Tati doesn’t want to rush himself for his first major move out of his formative side. What’s more, Nantes haven’t reportedly been very open to allow one of their starters to leave with very limited time to secure a replacement.

  2. 30m for this player is completely waste of money

Surely we have someone in the academy that is better than this player.

  3. Surely all of our owners and directors are in the Epstein files, I’ve never seen a bunch of people as obsessed with teenagers as they are.

So we “pulled out” of the Jaquet deal because we really want to keep Josh and give Sarr a go. Right? So there would be no point trying to sign another young CB then, right?

Did we not recall sarr or something? Is that not enough alongside Josh and anselmino for ‘promising cbs’

  6. Idk this mid but we’ve set unbelievable precedents when it comes to buying kids for large amounts of money. It’s harming us long term.

  7. Management feels offended they couldn’t secure their target so they’re rushing to sign another unknown teenager. I hope they put even half as much effort in signing established players.

It was mentioned earlier in the Daily Discussion that we have too many right footed CBs (Fofana, Sarr, Anselmino, Acheampong, and Chalobah), and hence why the links to a left footed CB was necessary. (Jacquet is right footed too, by the way). Colwill and Badiashile are the only two left footed CBs in the squad.
