On signing for his hometown club, Jackson said: “I am delighted for various reasons; it feels like it has been a long time coming.
“To never have had the opportunity to play here, to have played so many games and not come home as such, it is a nice feeling and is emotional.
“I have been away from home for a long time. For my family to be able to come and see me week in week out now, on their doorstep, it is a special feeling.
“I have had some unbelievable times over the years at different clubs, but to be out there and doing what I do best in front of a lot of friends and family, there will be no better feeling.
“Straight away, I am at ease and I am comfortable with my surroundings. I know what Bradford has got to offer, hopefully I can show Bradford what I have got to offer.”
