Crystal Palace have lodged a £43million bid to sign Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen, talkSPORT understands.

The Eagles have made signing a new centre-forward a top priority amid uncertainty over Jean-Philippe Mateta‘s future at Selhurst Park.

Palace have already secured the services of Evann Guessand on loan from Aston Villa.

But they have been seeking another striker in order to sanction Mateta’s exit, with AC Milan in talks to bring him to Italy.

And he is now expected to make the move to south London in a guaranteed £43m offer, with an extra £5m in possible add-ons.
