Tawanda Chirewa has joined League One side Barnsley on loan for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.
The midfielder signed for Wolves from Ipswich Town in 2023 and has played 12 times since then, while also spending time on loan at Derby County in the Championship and Huddersfield Town in the third tier.
The 22-year-old spent the first half of this season in the West Midlands, playing twice for the first-team, as a substitute against Aston Villa and West Ham United, and six times for James Collins’ under-21s group.
In December he featured at the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time, representing Zimbabwe in all three group matches against Egypt, Angola and South Africa.
Now he joins Barnsley, who sit 15th in League One, and all at Wolves wish Tawanda the best of luck during his time at Oakwell.
