A two-car crash in St Pauls Road, near Asda supermarket, was reported to Dorset Police at 3.07pm on Friday, January 30.

The road was subsequently closed after police crews were joined by fire and ambulance services.

The fire service said it was called in to free a casualty from their vehicle, before leaving the scene shortly after 3.30pm.

The condition of the persons involved in the crash is currently unknown.

A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to the station roundabout at Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth at 3.15pm today (30 January) for a two vehicle road traffic collision.

“Two crews attended, from Westbourne and Redhill Park, and one casualty was freed from their vehicle into the care of the ambulance service.

“Our stop was at 3.34pm, and we have now left the scene.”
