Crystal Palace have held exploratory talks over a late move for former Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling, according to reports.
The Selhurst Park side are looking to bolster Oliver Glasner’s squad with new arrivals ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline and have reportedly identified Sterling as a potential target.
The 31-year-old is believed to be on the radar of several Premier League clubs, with Fulham, West Ham and Tottenham weighing up a potential move.
Sterling agreed to terminate the remaining 18 months of his contract at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, after failing to make an appearance for the Blues this season.
Crystal Palace Eyeing Move for Raheem Sterling

According to TEAMtalk, Sterling is keeping his options open ahead of the transfer deadline, with discussions with Premier League clubs yet to make substantial progress.
The former Liverpool forward also has admirers in the MLS and the Saudi Pro League, with clubs in the Middle East initiating conversations over a move.
It remains to be seen whether Sterling would be prepared to continue his career outside England, as his preference is to remain in London.
The ‘exceptional’ 31-year-old was also linked with a switch to defending Serie A champions Napoli, but the move appears unlikely at the minute.
Napoli president Giovanni Manna has recently said that signing Sterling would be ‘difficult’ due to his ‘significant financial expectations’, as the winger was pocketing over £300,000 a week at Stamford Bridge.
Sterling spent last season on loan at Arsenal, where he scored one goal and provided five assists in 28 appearances under Mikel Arteta.
He last scored a Premier League goal in May 2024, in Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Bournemouth.
Palace Working on Evann Guessand Deal

After welcoming Brennan Johnson from Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month, Palace have been working towards further attacking reinforcements for Oliver Glasner’s squad.
According to reports, the Eagles are closing in on a move for Aston Villa forward Evann Guessand, who looks set to join on loan with a conditional obligation to buy.
Guessand has travelled to London to finalise the move, after reaching an agreement on a four-year contract if the deal becomes permanent.
Palace were also close to completing a move for Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen on Friday, but have since signalled their intention to walk away from the deal.
