Tottenham Hotspur are very interested in appointing Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola as a successor to Thomas Frank, according to reports in Spain.
The North London side have endured a disappointing first part of the season with the Danish tactician, winning just seven of their 23 Premier League games and currently sitting 14th in the table.
While Tottenham chiefs have refused to make a decision on Frank’s future yet, they are believed to be keeping a close eye on potential replacements for their under-pressure head coach, who was only appointed last summer.
Frank replaced Ange Postecoglou following Tottenham’s worst-ever Premier League finish in 17th place, despite the Australian lifting the Europa League – the club’s first trophy in 17 years.
Tottenham Very Keen on Andoni Iraola

According to Spanish publication Marca, Iraola has no shortage of suitors amid his impressive two-and-a-half-year stint on the Dorset coast.
While Tottenham are believed to be following his situation with a keen interest, so too are Spanish giants Atletico Madrid, whose sporting director Mateu Alemany is reportedly an admirer of Iraola’s work.
Marca claims there is a very high possibility that Iraola leaves Bournemouth at the end of the season, when his three-year contract with the Cherries expires.
Iraola, praised as ‘one of the most elite coaches in world football’, took over at Bournemouth in the summer of 2023 and led the club to finishes of 12th and ninth in his first two Premier League seasons, recording the club’s highest league placing in history last term.
The Spanish tactician has endured a difficult third year at the Vitality Stadium so far, with Bournemouth sitting 13th in the table, one place above Tottenham.
The Dorset coast side have only won twice in their last 14 league games, beating Tottenham and Liverpool at the Vitality Stadium this month.
Tottenham Eyeing Leon Goretzka

Tottenham are interested in signing Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka ahead of the transfer deadline.
The North London side have reportedly enquired about the German footballer, whose contract in the Bavarian capital runs until the end of the season.
Atletico Madrid are also believed to be following Goretzka’s situation very closely, although it remains to be seen whether Bayern would entertain a mid-season exit.
The Bavarians are expected to make a decision within the next few days, as Goretzka has been an important player for manager Vincent Kompany this season.
