Crystal Palace Agree Deal For Jørgen Strand Larsen
Strand Larsen’s Impact at Wolves

Strand Larsen has been a key figure at Wolves since his arrival, operating primarily as a lone striker and providing a consistent focal point in attack. His physical presence, intelligent movement, and ability to link play made him a central part of their tactical approach. Last season, he scored 14 goals and added four assists. While his attacking output hasn’t been at the same level this season, he has still racked up six goals and two assists in all competitions.

The Norwegian’s performances in the Premier League attracted growing interest, and Palace’s willingness to meet the Wanderers’ valuation underlines how highly he is rated. For Wolves, while losing their leading striker is a blow, fans will hope the significant fee received can be reinvested as they face a fight to stay in the Premier League.

What He Brings to Crystal Palace

For Crystal Palace, Strand Larsen represents a major statement signing. The 25-year-old is expected to be a direct replacement for Jean-Philippe Mateta, who has confirmed his desire to leave the London club this window. Strand Larsen brings aerial strength, strong hold-up play, and a proven ability to score at the Premier League level.

His arrival should give Palace a more direct attacking outlet and greater flexibility in the final third, particularly against deep defensive blocks. At his age, Strand Larsen also fits the club’s strategy of investing in players with both immediate impact and long-term value

With the deal now agreed, Wolves are set to enter the final stages of the window with a clear focus on reshaping their attacking options. The departure of a key striker represents both a challenge and an opportunity. The club must now reinvest wisely and ensure it remains competitive for the rest of the season.
