Shame, wishing him a speedy recovery.
He’d shine in the Belgian pro league
Would it not be more creative to still do a deal. Insert a recall clause and set it up where United cover his wages while he’s recovering with them?
Becomes a low cost deal to the other club and chance of Tyler playing 10 odd games
This guy has been hovering around the first team squad maybe the most out of all our youngsters but I’m yet to see what the hype is about.
Insanely unlucky timing, feel bad for the lad, would’ve been a nice chance to show what he’s made off.
I dont understand why we dont get more U21s loans to the tier under Top5. Eredivisie, Belgian PL, Scottish Premiership, Primeira Liga.
Not every lad will make it, but surely a loan in a competitive pro environment just a step below Top5 Leagues could do them a world of good, before they go past the U21 cutoff and they are kind of left with neither pro experience nor a path into the first team.
Im not talking about making more money, I mean for the players’ sake.
Why not agree a loan deal with someone like say Wednesday who are desperate for numbers under the same sort of deal like Amass’ where we covered everything including accommodation. He can then recover & join them once fit.
He’s at a stage where he should be playing as much as possible to hone his skill & he’s well beyond U21s.
