Crystal Palace have submitted an improved offer for Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Jorgen Strand Larsen, GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Fabrizio Romano has revealed.
The Selhurst Park side are looking to bring in the ‘incredible’ 25-year-old Norway international ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline, with talks underway to seal an agreement on personal terms.
Wolves are believed to be open to selling Strand Larsen for £40m this month amid their precarious Premier League position.
The West Midlands club are sitting rock-bottom of the league table after 23 games, 17 points off safety after winning just once.
Palace Make Improved Strand Larsen Bid

Romano, writing on X, revealed that Palace are pushing ahead with a deal to sign Strand Larsen, with talks underway at both club and player level ahead of the transfer deadline.
Palace view Strand Larsen as a potential replacement for unsettled Jean-Philippe Mateta, who has expressed his desire to leave the club ahead of the transfer deadline.
The Frenchman is believed to be a target for Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest, who submitted a £35m offer last week.
Palace are believed to be demanding £40m for Mateta, similarly to Wolves’ valuation of Strand Larsen, who is also a target for Leeds United. The Whites have also tested Wolves’ resolve with an initial offer but saw it rejected.
Strand Larsen joined Wolves from La Liga side Celta Vigo in 2024 and has registered 15 goals and five assists in 56 Premier League appearances to date.

Anticipating a busy end to the January window, Palace are also believed to be exploring a move for Toulouse and England U21 defender Charlie Cresswell.
According to Romano, the Eagles have asked for details on the conditions of a possible deal for the centre-back, as they look to bring in a replacement for ex-captain Marc Guehi, who was sold to Manchester City this month.
Cresswell has no shortage of suitors across Europe, with Toulouse already rejecting bids from Brighton and Wolfsburg this month.
The French club are reportedly aiming to keep Cresswell until the end of the season amid strong interest from Premier League sides.
