Lovro Mayer (Croatian Lovro Majer; January 17, 1998, Zagreb) is a Croatian footballer, midfielder of the Dynamo Zagreb club. He played for the Croatian national team.

Born in Zagreb in 1999, Lovro started playing football at the local Dynamo. At the age of 12, he left this club. In 2013 Mayer joined another Moscow team of Lokomotiv, having previously passed through the youth teams of Dubrava and Trnje clubs.

In 2016, Mayer was called up to the main team of Lokomotiv. On 30 June 2016, he made his club debut in the official UEFA Europa League 2016/17 away qualifier against Andorran’s Unio Esportiva Santa Coloma, coming on as a 76th minute substitute. On September 11 of the same year, Mayer scored his first goal at the highest level, at the beginning of the second half, narrowing the gap in the score in the away match against the Slaven Belupo team.

In the summer of 2017, the question arose about the possible transfer of Mayer to the Scottish Celtic, but the player remained at the club for another season. On July 1, 2018, he moved to Dynamo Zagreb, with which he signed a five-year contract. The transfer amount ranged from 2 to 2.5 million euros.
