The 22-year-old is a product of the Toffees’ academy system, making her senior debut in January 2022 before signing her first professional contract in the summer of that year.
Weir has previously enjoyed loan moves away from Merseyside at then second-tier side Lewes and Scottish Women’s Premier League team Glasgow City.

She is the daughter of former Scottish international David Weir, who is known for his spells at Everton and Rangers.
On signing for the Blues, Weir said: “The conversations in the lead up to the move have been great and I’m really excited to be here now.
“I love defending and I also think I’m good with the ball at my feet. I’m quite tall as well so hopefully I can contribute a couple of goals from set pieces while I’m here.
“I’m really looking forward to meeting the rest of the girls and helping to contribute to a positive second half of the season.”
Weir has made three appearances for Everton this season – turning out against Newcastle and Nottingham Forest in the League Cup, whilst also coming on as a substitute in their WSL clash with Brighton.
She has won Scotland caps at Under-16, U19 and U23s level, the latter alongside fellow Town defender Megan Wearing.
The centre-back has been handed the No. 23 shirt and could make her debut when the Tractor Girls travel to Newcastle United this Sunday.
