Even before he played for us, I loved him for this and other little things he’s done. He’s still a working class brummie lad at heart. Grew up with a sister with a disability so has a lot more compassion than most.

Jack is a good man, obviously he also has flaws and it’s Important not to gloss over them – but the amount of work and effort he puts in to make everyone – especially children – feel welcome and cared about is truly deserving of being a Toffee.
Let’s hope we can get a deal done with City for a reasonable transfer fee in the summer
