Both games are massive… that said I think we should rest Bruno for the PSG game. I like the idea of Miley as a 6 and giving Ramsey a start… Tonali works so hard for us he needs a beak too. We can take Villa at home… Pope is a pretty damned good shot stopper.

Why such a low transfer pot of £20m-£25m??!!! No chance it is due to PSR. If we can only spend £25m due to PSR that means we only have around £2.5m of headroom for the 30 June 2026 calculation (if a player is signed on a 5 year deal). PSR is always a convenient excuse by the inept recruitment department and compliant fools like Hope are happy to pedal these lies.

Fair comment on Jacob Ramsey, just think he needs to add some goals as he has the pace and close control. Apart from Bruno we never see any goals from midfield sometimes Joelinton but the others???? Take Bruno and Joelinton out and our defense have more goals then the balance of our midfield!!!

If Bruno's injury is still too swollen to be able to tell what the injury is and how bad it is then how can we even consider him as possibly being available?! With this stance, in combination with him being made to hobble around the pitch after requesting to be subbed after the injury, then it doesn't reflect well on the management or the medical department.

Just to be different, I'd completely change it up on Sunday. Pope has to start, but I'd play a back four of Trippier, Thiaw, Botman and Alex Murphy. I midfield I'd play Joelinton in the 6, Hall in the 8 and Tonali in the 10, with a front 3 of Elanga, Woltemade and Ramsey on the left. I'd also have all the usuals on the bench if it doesn't work. 👍
I really believe Ramsey and Elanga are going to be amazing players for Newcastle for years to come. I know many not agree, but we need to stay positive and keep cheering them on. Be well all!!

I have to disagree regarding Bruno’s fitness. If an athlete has trained consistently for months they will lose nothing by missing 3 days training, quite the opposite actually. He will feel the benefit of the rest and be flying.

Don't think he will make that many changes in midfield Craig as Villa are a top side and will be a hard game we need Sandro starting If Bruno isn't fit.

Away to the CL winners who require a win themselves to make top 8 for me is a dead rubber. We can play our best team at our best and still get a beating, at home it would be different but it’s not. Villa is a bigger game for us right now. Accept we’ve made play offs, focus on Villa and Liverpool.

You can't rest our top players for the PSG match. If they are fit they play. Keeping top players happy is more important than 1 home game in the Prem.
Leave Bruno out for gawdsake. A knackt ligament wont recover by Sunday. Plain dumb. Even Wed could be too close. PSG are streets ahead of AV. AV cracked on since that dull season opener.
PSG Bigger game on paper yes , but bigger priority 100% no . Pushing for the top 4/5 is the most important thing this season.
