  1. Hi Charles I'd like u to render Ur thoughts on two things:

First I think Nwaneri moving to Marseille is massive. Allows Dowman to stay on the squad list. He needs to power through and come back a beast. Have u noticed he doesn't play with as much verve for the U21s? I think he is playing below his potential on international duty even though he doesn't get into the Senior squad at the moment. Might his introduction to the big stage early be a harbinger on his hunger? Should one or two stints away be the best thing coz he can really be our future Martin Oedegaard

Secondly, I think Gyokeres is an attitude player with a big ego and rightfully so although he has learnt Arsenal is bigger than anyone. Benching him might however not be the best thing for him even though it might be better for the team. I'd like to see Arteta's decision on Sunday. I think he starts. Jesus is unselfish, if there was a time these two were to be on the pitch at the same time, I think that partnership could thrive. The caveat is we are not in that trial-error phase of the season😢. I would also love to see Kai leading the line. He looks good of late

  2. It surely has to be Jesus. The entire frontline looked better with Jesus. Gyokeres scored off a break which is great but thats not how the United game is going to be. And 1 open play goal in what, 2 months doesnt change anything. He's not delivered.

  3. I don't get the logic behind your words Charles, 1 good strike resulting in a goal which is 1 out of 24 appearances
, does not automatically fix the issues with gyok. I agree with all the top comments, gyok can't play vs low block teams.

  4. Just keep starting Gyokeres IMO , jesus comes off the bench with something to prove and Vik trys to keep up the good form , I think it works for both players , jesus plays better when he's hungry thats just facts. I feel like its just starting to click for Viktor.

  5. I don't see the striker issue as a debate…we have a pool of strikers that are suitable for different scenarios and game states. Play each of them to their strengths. Jesus to start against Utd. Gyok to come on later in second half. Save Havertz for maybe his first start against Kairat and then rotate from there on.

  6. Against Inter, Eze gave the ball away a lot but our defenders and GK, who we rate highly came to the rescue and we only conceded once. Eze might not be the best at pressing or winning duels but he is good at sniffing out moments to create or score. His weaknesses can be covered by our world class defenders. That's the mental shift i would like our manager to adopt. Our opponents are not as clinical as we fear them to be.

  7. After watching the first half of the OM game vs Liverpool, I think Ethan walks into that team. They seem to lack ideas after the first face of buildup and they clearly need someone to connect their build up to the attack. Greenwood was moved central a couple of times to try and offer that connection but it’s clearly not his game. Ethan, I believe solves that for them if he can get going as soon as possible.

  8. Hello? Am I crazy, there is no debate. One goal against inter does not change the fact he has offered almost nothing since he has arrived. Jesus or Merino are much better choices

  9. I think Jesus will be a better more suitable starter as he can help overload the midfield and assist with link up, hold up and transitioning play that will be crucial to overpower Manu and their presumed mid/low block with fast counter attacking system of football they’re likely to play

  10. Charles did it ever came across your mind that the reason why our strikers have a hard time scoring or breaking difference is the fact that we have the strongest defense in the world. So maybe we can use a different defense during practice so they can score more or find the spaces better?

  11. Am I old-fashioned? With all this debate about Gyökeres or Jesus, why not start both? Growing up, I remember Yorke and Cole, Shearer and Sutton (SAS). Nobody seems to think about 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 anymore.

  12. Hi 👋 Charles, I hope 🤞 all is good 👍. Arsenal should come into the game against Manchester United with confidence. The Gunners need to defend well and breakdown Manchester United defence. COYG to beat Manchester United God willing 🙏🏽. Have a good 👍 day Charles 😂. Arsenal rocks 🪨.

  13. I’m happy with people saying Jesus should start but 1. Gyokeres is still our best striker at the club easily. 2. If Jesus has a poor game I expect him to get absolute pelters that Gyokeres has been getting from most of this fan base.

  14. People keep talking about how great Hugo Ekitike is and how bad Viktor Gyokeres is, but the former has scored 11 goals in 27 and the latter 9 in 27. It's not that huge a difference. What do you think?

  15. Fun question for you Charles given the first game of the season was against Man united…. what's your favorite goal so far this season in terms of importance and quality? Importance – Id probably say Gabriel against Newcastle, quality – a bit biased but the volley from Zubi against Forest because I was there. Cheers and COYG!
