  1. Everton having Everton problems, have been like that for seasons. When some of the regulars are coming back from injuries and international duty another of the best player will be injured. Their squad is paperthin, so them managing to grind out results is nothing but impressive.

  2. If anyone was prepared to pay £30m or £40m for Grealish, we would have already heard about it. In other words, not going to happen unless the Saudi league comes in looking for another poster boy.

  3. Feel for Jack he never did get a proper chance for England in a tournament… If I'd been told that while watching him playing like Gazza at villa park I'd never believed he'd do nothing with England … Proper nice kind funny lad as well, be great to have a pint with

  4. As a Hearts AND Villa fan, I am personally gutted about Shanks being injured. The league chase is big for Hearts! As for Jack…..next stop is back at Villa in 2026-27.

  5. Gutted for Jack he was only at Everton to secure a spot at the World Cup and his stats were better than Gordon who hasn’t scored an open play goal in over a year now

  6. Still got small chance of world cup squad, if the other contenders for the England squad get injuries. Stress fracture should heel in 3 months. Just have to get fit quickly after it heals? Maybe??
