Correct me if I’m wrong but surly there’s a massive difference between an England manager who can go around England and select whoever he wants within the English players vs getting clubs to actually BUY players across England, Europe and internationally! That’s a massive difference no!? His actual club management credentials is completely different to managing the England team!
Andy acts like everyone saying United should get Southgate is some “gotcha” moment like everyone is laughing at him but it’s just realistic at this point.
From a boro fan, Southgate may of took us down but when he took over from he inherited a uefa cup final squad, and year after year he had to cut the wage bill and lose key players like boateng, viduka, yakubu etc – our recruitment failed him by signing dross players so his time at Middlesbrough was bad cos he too us down but it wasn’t all on him
You don't pause your support for your club, you either support them or you don't, no matter how bad the club situation is, you stand by your club
