William Saliba is desperate for success at Arsenal.

The Frenchman has been a fan of the club since he was a kid, and joining them in 2019 was a dream come true for him.

Saliba had to wait three years before he could make his senior Arsenal debut, but since his first game, the Gunners have been challenging for the Premier League title.

However, the defender is ‘tired’ of finishing every season empty-handed.

Opta says Arsenal have an 80 per cent chance of winning the Premier League this season. What percentage chance would you give the Gunners?

William Saliba says he is ‘tired’ of not winning trophies at Arsenal

Arsenal have finished second in the Premier League table three seasons in a row.

The Gunners also made it into the semi-finals of the Champions League last term, and they reached the same stage in the Carabao Cup as well.

A case can be made that the Gunners deserved to win at least one major trophy over the last three seasons, but that, sadly, hasn’t happened.

William Saliba has now claimed that he is ‘tired’ of finishing a season at Arsenal without anything to show for it, and he is desperate for it to change now.

Speaking to CBS Sports after Arsenal’s 3-2 win over Chelsea, Saliba said: “We want to win everything. I am tired of finishing the season without anything in my pocket.

“Now we have four competitions to win. My pocket was empty last year.

“Now we want to win everything – Carabao Cup, FA Cup, Champions League and the Premier League.

“Of course, it is not easy. It’s easy to say it. But we want to prove it on the pitch, and we will give everything to win every title.”

Arsenal could make William Saliba’s dream come true

Saliba is right; even we are tired of finishing consecutive seasons without any silverware.

If Arsenal were as bad as Tottenham and won nothing, it wouldn’t hurt much. But they have been absolutely incredible over the last three years, and it’s such a shame that they haven’t gotten over the line.

Things could be very different this season.

Arsenal are six points clear at the top of the Premier League table, leading the Champions League standings and are one step away from the final of the Carabao Cup.

It would be sensational if the Gunners could win everything and fulfil Saliba’s dream, but even if they win just one of the Premier League and Champions League, we’re sure fans will be very happy.
