Rangers ARE keeping an eye on Celtic target Cho Gue-sung – but no bid has been lodged yet.
The Ibrox outfit are monitoring the South Korean striker, 24, following his impressive World Cup in Qatar. Football Scotland exclusively told you that Celtic had made an offer of more than £2.7million – believed to be closer to £3m – and had hoped to be closing in on a move for the attacker with Mainz outbid.
Football Scotland understands Cho is likely to leave his home country for Europe this month and Ange Postecoglou’s Hoops remain in pole position.
But Rangers are now keen on the player and could make a move in January but so far they are yet to make their interest in the World Cup star concrete with an offer.
