+ The club are open to January opportunities to add a new midfielder and a versatile attacker.

+ But defense is currently rated as the most likely position to be strengthened this month.

+ Jeremy Jacquet (Rennes) and Jacobo Ramon (Como) are the two names being linked.

+ Sources claim several of Chelsea’s key players reportedly grew frustrated under Maresca.

+ After replacing the Italian, Rosenior has moved quickly to unite the squad, holding both team meetings and one-to-one talks to understand players’ roles, form, and fitness.

+ With a heavy match schedule, he is unlikely to introduce major tactical changes, instead focusing on small adjustments to gain marginal improvements.

+ One well-placed source said: "The mood has been really good since Liam came in. Not everyone had been entirely happy, but there has been a notable shift and Liam’s communication skills have been really evident."

  1. Haha, the ultimate fuck you to Maresca

I feel by the way they saw Estevao getting pissed here as well, we all saw how pissed he was coming off at times under Maresca so i have a feeling he might be one they were thinking.

I know its not even an option given where we are as a club, but we should be all over Guehi. How the mighty have fallen

Wonder if those two names linked with us would actually strengthen our defense. They’re both 20 & 21 respectively lol

  4. so…let’s see, it takes one manager’s words, plus his departure, and the new manager’s same words before the chelsea board recognize a message (needing a defender). How stubborn

  5. This news coming out before the fan protest on saturday is pretty convenient. Despite all that , I hope its true

  6. I mean CB clearly the biggest area of improvement Disasi, Badiashille and Tosin not good enough to be here

After seeing how many times the backline changer after 30 minutes in the arsenal game, SD’s finally realised we NEED a cb 😂

  8. Was about to say that watching yesterday’s game, we are back to square one. The manager wants to play from the back but we don’t have the CBs and keeper to do it so we either need an internal solution which just may not be possible or reach out in the transfer window. I am glad we are trying to attack the problem now, hopefully it’s someone quality but the key is the right profile.

    > and a versatile attacker.

oh my God, 14th winger will fix the current state of things

  10. They get your hopes up with the first half of the statement, then you see the list of likely incomings and it’s just pain. I beg we just sign somebody experienced at the back, chuck 40 mil at Palace to see if they’ll let Guehi go.

  11. is there any other real option then guehi tho? and even so, is guehi leader kind of player? cause we got solid options now, we got physical players, we got players that pass, that can run (more or less you know) and all that, but lack someone whos gonna lead the defense and yell if needed.

  12. But I thought the manager had zero input or control over the squad. Some of our moron fans need to sit down.

  13. I wonder who it will be from Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Pusey, Shea Charles, Luke Mbete, Jamal Baptiste or Finley Burns

  14. Guehi is your man. Can be had for around 30m i bet. Will demand higher wages but he is proven in the league and could drop into the team today.
