Geoff here: Dykes not for me. The only positive is that he played under Marti at QPR and did get a few goals.
We will always be linked with strikers. Hopefully, it is just an agents promotion of his player and Leicester are not serious on this matter.
What the Cheltenham game showed us is that the inclusion of our young players resulted in a greater energy within the team.
I think Soumare is also linked to Monaco. Would be nice if both Faes and Soumare leave this transfer window.
Faes needs leave now if he any chance of making the Belgium World Cup squad.
Both goals by Daka and Mavididi were well taken.
Yes and take his hair cut with him!๐๐๐๐๐๐
Faas has scored more goals for Liverpool than Leicester. Maybe Liverpool wants him, they're a bigger club ?
Wonderful news he's now training with them another high earner out the door ๐
Simply need to get rid of dead wood, Daka for me, Soumare, Faes without question should go. Rebuild needed.
Wilson will get to playoff
Unfortunately, there are several players that have been brought in to Leicester City in recent years on salaries that are unsustainable for the Championship. As we all know, there are many of them who are prepared just to get the money in their bank account and not really stretch themselves. The club seems to be unable to instigate any sanctions against such underperformance. Brendan Rogers tried to do a few things but failed, while none of the subsequent managers have managed to do anything either. In most walks of life, you would be given a written warning, if you didn't perform, and you would be out of the door, if you didn't pull your socks up after that. Football seems to operate in a parallel financial universe, where poor performance has no or limited consequences.
The fact that so many LCFC players are apparently still on Premier League-level salaries shows (a) poor recruitment with seemingly no drastic reductions in pay for relegation and (b) weak efforts to offload players whom the club can no longer afford.
I think that, if it hasn't hit home already, Leicester City are not likely to be back in the Premier League for some time to come. For some of us older folk, 2014-2022 was probably a period in the club's history that will never be repeated and we need to get used to that. The 1960s saw three FA Cup final appearances and a prolonged stay in the old First Division; I suspect a repeat of that is about as good as we can expect in the next 20-30 years.
Don't even go there with Lyndon dykes, how low can u go
