Any manager that can come in and sort out our defence should be given a life time contract, also this Mount/Dalot right side just isn’t it, I’d stick on Lacey for the second half and let’s see what the kid can do

Honestly think it’s been a decent performance. Wouldn’t mind seeing Lacey get a run out off the right instead of Mount who’s been invisible. Need to be a bit of clinical in final third as that’s the difference at the min.

The issue is the players giving width are not good or consistent. Dalot and Dorgu are not it. Mount is not good in this formation, just clogs up the middle.
In defence, Mainoo is not covering enough or screening well. Players also look more nervous today

Think we’re okay but just no threat from wide areas whatsoever, and it’s letting their fullbacks gain influence and go forward with little fear. Not enjoying Mount’s game out there. Get Lacey on and give them something to worry about, and Casemiro soon beside Mainoo who’s doing well.

Honestly Cunha is looking very sloppy.
Ugarte is playing well and so is Kobbie. Dorgu playing well. Dalot making great runs but as soon as he touches the ball he just gives it away.
I’d love to see Lacey come in second half on that right wing. Give them another dimension to the game.

Mainoo’s not playing good man. Still the rust? Or misprofiled? idk, not happy to see this blackhole midfield man. Atleast under Amorim, Case had that spring with the back 3, even if it meant relying on the CBs for the buildup which felt really shitty.
