      I think we have two problems here that we are making into a 3 body problem (pun intended).

      The immediate concern is the manager. Frank has to go. Lack of great obvious replacement cannot be a reason to attract more problems for summer. Get someone in who prioritises PL and maybe gets us 7-8 position with some luck. Which gives us higher calibre of managers and players in summer to tempt.

      Lange needs to go, but we need a good long term plan here to replace him. Can’t just sack and have a vacuum. He also is middle of hierarchy and can basically be forced to work on different goals if manager and board around him want.

      At Vinai and board level it will take years for a change, with some plan for succession.

      So we need to start from bottom. Change manager, for immediate results improving. Change transfer strategy, failing which get someone in summer to replace Lange. And lastly, keep building pressure on Vinai to come out and listen to us fans and push ownership for some changes over next year or two.

      Do we really think anything at top will change till we go to the matches, buy merch and whine online? No.

      If they don’t sack him today, we can end the are we sacking him queries this season, they’re not going to do it, they are that far up their own ass.

      It’s not like he showed any promise at all, we’ve been spiralling downwards non-stop, I cannot fathom what’s their reasoning for keeping him around. The only moments where the team looked half decent this season are when they completely abandon his tactics, even then we’re just playing unsustainable chaos ball, he adds nothing of worth to the club rn.

      Last two matches have had moments of optimism but frank has dug so deep of a hole I don’t see any way out but I don’t think the board will fire him so what happens… ?

      How is it that the fans can see the tactics are wrong, that we can see the recruitment and squad building are wrong, and that the overall club direction and strategy is wrong yet they’re the ones getting paid millions to do the wrong thing?

      Xavi hernandez seems like an obvious choice rn. Fixed mentality at barca with bits and pieces players like auba and adama traore, laid foundation with giving chances to younger players.

      I used to make plans around our fixtures, probably missed 2-3 games out of all during Ange’s reign, now i am not even bothered about watching us play.
