they’re about to negotiate the dodgiest deal possible, but at least the end result works out for everyone

  2. Ofcourse they are but I am 100% sure they will try to do another loan instead of paying €30m.

For the best, but I’ll be sorry to see him go. It’s a pity the way things worked out in the end, he could have been an all time United legend

  4. It’ll be dragged out until the last minute of the summer transfer window before we cave and accept another loan deal as the new manager won’t want him. Rinse and repeat until he leaves on a free.

  5. If people think this means Barca intend to trigger the already negotiated option, they’re deluded

  6. From the article:

    • Barcelona want to keep Marcus Rashford after his loan ends and have a €30m buy option for summer 2026

    • Rashford has been a regular under Hansi Flick, with seven goals and 11 assists in 26 appearances

    • Barcelona are paying his full wages and currently lead La Liga by four points

    • Rashford fell out of favour at Manchester United due to concerns over his application, and that situation has not changed despite Ruben Amorim’s dismissal

    • He spent time on loan at Aston Villa before moving to Barcelona and has returned to the England squad

    • Rashford has said he wants to stay at Barcelona, saying he “needed a change” after nearly his whole career at United

Barca won’t have better opportunities to have a quality player considering the transfer fee. It’s just his full wages are very high. He’s got a spot in most match day squads and would start some matches behind Raphina. They will probably go for a top defender and center forward, so getting good quality using their levers is essential for them.

People here still coping lmfao can’t accept the fact that he’s actually a good player when outside of the toxic uk media

  9. 😂

He’s been ass cheeks. Pimp my ride type performances as usual.

He’s got 1goal in the last14football matches played. With an average rating of6.4.

They’re not going to keep him but for the love of god please don’t let him come back to united.

Hopefully they trigger the option and then we got sancho and a couple other to bin off and the balance sheet will be looking good.

  11. There’s quite a difference between “want to keep him beyond the loan spell” and “have any intention of actually buying him”.

They’re clearly already angling for another loan. Sod ’em. Pay up or shut up.

  12. That’s fine pay the agreed fee, I don’t think it’s going to be as difficult as we think. Both the team and player want each other. Especially if they can’t find someone else to replace Rashfords production

  13. They’ll probably wanna loan him until his contracts up lol, and even then they wouldn’t pay his sign on fee

Should be quite simple for us. Either they pay the agreed price or we keep him as a left sided attacker for the incoming coach. It’s either money for transfers or a free transfer. I’ll be fuming if we take any less than what’s been already agreed!

  15. Thevanillafalcon on

    Yeah they do in January,

Come summer and it will be “we have no money give him to us for free”

  16. bless them

can we have some their academy players if they fall short on the money? I heard there us a kid named Yamal, he will do plus some loose change

or De Jong, just to piss ETH off

  17. MinimumArticle2735 on

They are going to send him back at the earliest and leave it as late as they can to put in their miserly bid, making sure we pay him for the time inbetween and we have no option but to accept.

  18. Caretaker and new manager will want Rashford and Mainoo – but club wants to sell them

  19. They could sign him for 26M and instantly sell him on for double – insane decisions being made by the club

  20. Im sure I’ll get down voted for this, but this is an awful deal for us and I really dont like it. He’s our best attacker and were letting him go to the La Liga leaders for what 25 million? Thats a joke of an amount.

Even this season hes got the same amount of goals and assists as our 180-210 million pound attack (Sesko, Cunha and Mbeumo) added together. Altogether they have 13 goals in europe in their career combined, Rashford has 30. And were letting him go for about the same as we paid for Dorgu. Im not even against those players I like them its not a dig.

Who are we going to get as good as Rashford for £25 million? No one, we can spend 60, 70, 80 +million, and might not get the same quality at a loss. How is that good?

Then pay some fucking money. Why do we always buy players but our players just fuck off for peanuts?
