Yall seem really eager to not have an option on the bench. Regardless of form just due to the risk of injury it’s good to have him on the bench. Especially if you consider that mount and Bruno are still recovering.

Honestly, that sale never really made much sense in terms of squad depth even under Amorim. Unless you rely very heavily on the academy for bench depth and/or unless everyone stays super healthy for the rest of the season (which is unlikely).
I would rather sell him in the summer and deal with the forward depth then.

They have back up strikers in Cunha and Mbeumo. And they have players to play the winger and CAM position. Don’t understand this.

If Ole is in charge, i can see him being a number 10 role behind strikers or striker himself….basically an option between sesko or bruno.

I don’t think he’s anywhere near good enough, but it seems clear at this point that we’re not getting anyone else in regardless, so it would be very dumb to let go of the only striker backup that we have(even if he’s not a proper striker). I’m sure he’ll be moved on in the summer

Good. Only one PL quality striker atm why were we putting him in the shop window to begin with? What happens if Sesko gets hurt? Some of the hate towards Zirkzee just doesnt make sense. He was bought to play as a false 9 in a 433 and we switched systems making him struggle.
If Ole is taking over, he showed he can use a striker like Zirkzee in that false 9 role, better off keeping him and letting him increase his value.
