Nottingham Forest are in FA Cup action this evening, with the Reds travelling to face an in-form Wrexham team.

Sean Dyche has now named his team for the FA Cup clash, and with the Premier League and Europa League, the head coach’s priorities don’t really align with tonight’s competition.

Winning breeds confidence, however, and although Wrexham have won four games in succession in the Championship, Dyche will still want Forest to progress.

Here is a look at tonight’s team, with the main takeaway being a whole host of changes as Dyche takes the chance to give minutes to a number of his fringe players.

Nottingham Forest must avoid FA Cup upset

Wrexham haven’t come up against a Premier League team since 1992, and it’s a big night for them and their Hollywood owners.

Forest are in town in somewhat alarming form, and although the team won at West Ham on Tuesday night, it’s one win in five games for Dyche.

The Reds must understand that winning games of football breeds confidence and it’s vital that the players who have been picked go out there and get a win tonight.

Forest don’t play again until Arsenal come to the City Ground next weekend and it’s important that Dyche makes his players aware of what’s at stake tonight.

Dyche needs wins and a performance would also be nice given that his position has come under scrutiny after some truly abysmal displays since he came to the club.
