  1. He is a welcome addition. I hope they manage to lower his price. If so, they will have done good business.

  2. That’s good news! He’s been good for us, and I doubt he wants to return to Manchester!

He can be a very impactful player off the bench and 30 million is a steal because nowadays all good wingers are 60+ million.

  4. Dude brings experience and has been useful at some crucial times…this is what’s needed of bench players and he kinda fits the bill. I’d probably choose someone like Lookman for this $$ but, you know, a bird in a hand…

If he lowers his wages, it would be a massive boost. We’ll finally have some good depth

Who tf is hating on rashford? He literally got us through when Raph and lamine weren’t around and brings a profile where he complements Raph very well

I don’t about this but I really hope he succeeds here, I know it takes most players a season or two to get properly acclimated. Hopefully we can decrease that purchase price. We don’t have the money to be paying 30m for bench depth imo.

  8. For 30 million, he’s a bargain. It’s just a matter of renegotiating his wages and we’re solid.

  9. Look i like rashford, seems like a team player and good for the dressing room.
But i hope it stays like that going forward,
I hope this wasn’t just for securing a contract.

Hope he integrates into the system, works even harder now the club has officially about to accept him as part of the family.
He has some aspects of his game he can improve-decisiveness and touch.

As for the board: Do try to negotiate his salary

I love rashford but paying quarter of a million euros man… For a backup winger might be too expensive for us.

  11. Ok_Lawfulness7412 on

I hope he takes a paycut atleast. His salary is way too high for a backup player .

  12. Isn’t there no other wingers younger than him ? Like yeah 30M for him is fair, but if we add a 10M and make it 40, can’t we get a young profile ?

  13. Ok_Lawfulness7412 on

Cancelo done , rashford almost done.

    Next who ?

    Vlahovic ? Otamendi ? Lenglet ?

If they didn’t want him why would they tell him in January? That would negatively impact his play most likely 😂 Make final decision at end of season

  15. Can honestly say I was pretty damn optimistic about him coming and doing well, and he exceeded all my expectations too. Great player to have.

Deco is a joke man, giving 14M salary to Rashford will be the end of this club. I agree with people that said Bayern is the model of a perfectly run team, with 50M Palhinha, 50M Kim Minjae, paying 20M salary to Upamecano. Why can’t we have competent people in the board too?

  17. ContentKnowledge3438 on

Don’t understand the hate he gets. Imagine getting a 25 G/A player(who’s mostly a depth signing) for 30M in today’s market. We wouldn’t have survived those first few months of the season without Rashford

  18. Rashford fanboys. Its not you who decide if he will stay or not, but the club’s management.

Remember we are still not in a good shape financially. We still need to save money.

This is the best news to come out of Barcelona in awhile. Bro proved himself and found a home. Good on rashford

  20. Legitimate_Text_3768 on

What is this board even about? 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ He offers absolutely nothing besides few crosses here and there, he’s terrible 1on1, bad at tracking back, doesn’t take that many shots and when he does he misses crucial chances and he’s old for 30m. He’s start was promising if we’re being honest he carried us a few matches but past November he’s one of the worst players on the pitch for us

  21. Aromatic_Goal_1922 on

I’m not sure if this is just about what Barca wants any more. Amorim is gone and if the new permanent manager calls Rashford up and promises a prominent role for him, he may be leaning that way as well, especially given that Utd can pay way better than us.
