Ipswich Town are set to play Blackpool in the third leg of the FA Cup at Portman Road on Saturday at 3pm.

Suffolk Highways has warned of delays due to emergency roadworks being carried out by Anglian Water on Felixstowe Road and Foxhall Road, to repair damaged water mains.

There are also emergency repairs being carried out by UK Power Networks on Ranelagh Road in Ipswich.

All of these roads will remain open, but temporary traffic lights will be in use, which is likely to cause delays in the area.

The roadworks on Foxhall Road will be in place until Tuesday, January 13, with traffic lights planned for different sections of the road later on in the month.

On Felixstowe Road, the traffic lights will be in place until Wednesday, January 14.

The roadworks on Ranelagh Road will have traffic lights in place until Friday, January 16.

A spokesman for Suffolk Highways said: “Please allow extra time for your journey if travelling along these routes, and check one.network for the latest updates.”
