  1. Mostly fine with this, I would have rested Jesus. Maybe giving him a chance to score I guess.

  2. Very happy seeing no Gibbs White, Anderson, Murillo and Milenkovic

The front 4 of Jesus, Bakwa, Ndoye and Hutchinson should still be more than enough firepower on paper

  3. Largely happy with the first team – wouldn’t have played Jesus but looks a bit shot of confidence in front of goal of late, so who knows what a goal could do for him.

Unpopular but I’d have only sent kids for the subs bench like we did in Graz. Excellent opportunity for them and honestly not bothered if we are knocked out tonight, provided we don’t embarrass ourselves in the process.

All 1st teamers have pretty much played 5 matches in about a fortnight, so rather they rest up for the important league and European matches coming up.

Is Yates off injured? Feel like I haven’t seen him for ages but I must have missed it if so

Sean Dyche introducing his 4-4-2? Good time to try it out, I suppose!

    Hutchinson and Jesus
    Ndoye, Luiz, McAtee, Bakwa
    Zinchenko, Morato, Cunha, Savona

Or think he’ll have them set up some other way?

I wish Abbot got the start. He’s looked good in Europe and I hope we can keep growing his skills and confidence. I’m sure he’ll be played off the bench.

  7. Much stronger lineup than I thought we’d go with but we’re resting the players that really need resting at least.

I’m surprised how strong the team is, i would have thought we’d be prioritising the Europa League. Maybe a sign Dyche is concerned about the chop?

  9. Ngl, I’m shitting myself about this one. It’s got giant killing written all over it. Morato and Zinchenko aren’t making me feel optimistic.

  10. tbf i woulds started both sinclair and abbott. but hey ho jair cunha isnt a figment of my imagination
