Not even people in England take him serious so who cares what he said.

Typical Brit. He is probably butthurt towards Jude as well for leaving England and going to another league.

Let’s not forget when Owen signed for Madrid he lived in a hotel for a year with his wife, refusing to buy or rent a house, refusing to learn the language, or to experience anything of the country he was in.
Probably explains why he doesn’t understand playing abroad.
He also doesn’t watch movies and doesn’t like music.
He is a weirdo. Basically a real life NPC and I don’t use that term lightly.

As an Arsenal fan, Harry made the right move. Whatever my animosity towards him, he and Son deserved some sort of silverware for their level of skill. Mans balling out and could still win a UCL title which would be massive for his career and personal gaols. His move shows both, the fact that he wanted to win big, but also he didn’t want to move to any other prem club cause he loves spurs. Respect to him for sacrificing an all time record to do that. And in hindsight, with Haalands current contract and beastly abilities, that all time record wont last long anyways.

> he has not won the Championship League
And he would’ve won it if he stayed in the PL?

I’m sure this is what Madrid must have thought after they signed Owen.

Anyone with half a brain (not Michael Owen) would realize that breaking the prem goal scoring record doesn’t even come close to winning trophies.
Let’s say he stayed with us (Tottenham fan here btw) and broke Shearer’s record, that’s not a permanent honour because Haaland is just going to certainly break that record later in his career anyway. However winning the league and league cups in Germany, possibly also Champion’s League, those are permanent long-life honours that a player of his calibre is worthy of and no one can take away from him. Ever.

Just ignore him, like his wife does. He’s noise and sour grapes to sell ad revenues via this commentary.
Kane to 150 EPL goals in 218 matches. Took Owen 326 matches.
Kane 78+ goals for England. Owen had 40.
As a lifelong Spurs and Bayern supporter, was elated when he left ENIC for Bayern and is thriving there.
