Just three weeks after Wolves took Black Country bragging rights on Derby Day in the league, the Old Gold meet West Bromwich Albion once again – this time in cup action – in their first game of 2026.
After the disappointment of last Sunday’s late postponement against Burnley, Dan McNamara’s side will kick-off the New Year at the SEAH Stadium with the aim of making it to the last four of the FA WNL Cup.
The Baggies also haven’t played since our last meeting and will be looking to avenge the three goals scored by Anna Morphet, Amber Hughes and Amy Sims at the Alexander Stadium.

Important Information
Following Thursday night’s heavy snowfall in the West Midlands, we are working with the FA WNL, Shropshire FA, AFC Telford United and the match officials to give Sunday’s match against West Bromwich Albion every chance of being played.
Regular assessments of conditions at SEAH Stadium are ongoing and will continue. The safety of players, staff, and supporters remains our highest priority and will guide all decision-making. Any decisions will be made in a timely manner to avoid unnecessary travel. Thank you for your understanding.
