It’s hardly a surprise that Bruno G has scored 3 in the last 3 plus one assist: clearly he can trust Miley to watch his back, while Bruno’s slip-ups and mistakes as a DM have cost us dearly in a couple of games this year.
That he seems to be at ease pretty much in every right-side zone from the midfield backwards is just the cherry on top.

What critics?
He’s definitely grown from last year, especially as he’s more confident and knows better what he has to do at a given moment.
I feel he has what it takes to play in front of the centre backs and claim the defensive midfielder spot, which has been a perennial question mark for us from the days of Tioté (RIP). With his physicality he’s going to get loads of balls from other players, and given how clean he looks on the ball he can spray it sideways and engage the more forward-looking players.
