Pep could spend another 300 ish million this window and still barely match Arsenals net spent btw

  2. No, the Superleague six as a whole are the cartel as they have a monopsony that would be illegal in almost any other scenario.

To give the definition of a cartel

“A cartel is a group of independent companies or producers that secretly agree to collude, fixing prices, limiting output, and controlling markets to eliminate competition and maximize profits”

The description fits like a glove. City are many things, but are a single entity and are not a cartel.

It’s mainly only the fans of the other 5 that have an issue with City (although Chelsea fans should probably be quiet given how they got their position) because they want even less unrestricted competition.

The charges to City will come to nothing substantial in the same way any attempt at anchoring spending to make the league fairer across the board will come to nothing. It’s all politics.

Fans of the cartel clubs can downvote away..It won’t make a single charge mean anything.

Of course Liverpool broke the PL transfer record twice and got alot of media attention. However they also made loads of good sales + the 3 windows before hand only signed Chisea. They require a bit of a rebuild and that is what cost them this season changing way too much too quickly. Arsenal on the other hand literally just signed top players and didn’t sell anyone.

City do make good sales but they are farming youth players like Chelsea and making good money from it.

I won’t say Liverpool don’t spend but its the consistency of the spending from City which is a joke. They may not break the transfer record but they have loads of 50m+ signings.

I mean how many years have the charges been ongoing for? They just throw crazy money and lawyers at it to make it be permanently deferred seems like. Anyone who thinks everything going on there is on the up and up hasn’t been paying attention.

End of the day everyone knows Manchester city have been cheating for years, even the city fans know this

It’s been very clear for quite a while now that nothing with come of the 115 charges.

  7. This is now way beyond football. Nothing is happening because of political pressure from Abu Dhabi to the UK government

Arsenal are worse to be honest – at least city actually have won trophies, it’s an embarrassment to the league that Arsenal are allowed to spend as they have done with absolutely no success to their name

Ah yes that famously underreported 115 charges situation.

There are a lot of non-UK posters on here and also young people without any exposure to the legal process, so I will be polite: in the UK it is not uncommon for major civil trials/adjudications, especially those with multi week hearings, to take a long time for a judgment to come back, especially when there is a panel of judges.

It’s not a conspiracy. It’s not a sign of corruption. Far from it: it’s a sign that the panel is taking a long time to reach a considered judgment. The panel members will also have other workload to deal with at the same time that is just as important to them as this one particular case.

When the final decision is reached expect the judgment to come to many hundreds of pages in length.

Just be patient, nothing is abnormal here.
