Our back line kept punting the ball up the field…to a CB pairing of VVD & Konate lol. It’s like we forgot how to play it from the back.
Worrying that we perform like this against big 6 sides with the exception of Spurs.
Man Utd, Chelsea, Villa and now Liverpool. Gladly most of the big 6 fixtures are behind us and we are still leading the table.

I don’t know man. Slot seems to have a strategy that has sort of worked 2 games in a row. Soak up pressure in the first half then make a tweak that Mikel can’t figure out in the second.
And from the first game at Anfield and this one, the way they would just play through us time and time again without a response in the second half was very infuriating to watch.
This should go without saying, not an Arteta outter, never been..but this game feels like one where tactically, Mikel seems to not know what to do comparative to other games where he almost always knows exactly what to do.
I see it as points lost and the only thing that makes it look not as bad of a second half performance is pool not having any shots on target.
Hoping he figures it out coz we can still meet pool in the CL and it would hurt if Slot found him out there.
Pierro going down is what hurt us imo, love mls but he can’t hang with frimpong. Draw isn’t ideal but if frimpong was not a wide wingback we’d have been fucked. Multiple chances behind mls and honestly even before that could’ve been costly. Hope ricci is back soon

We need to match up the midfield and play differently against pool. I would say start eze and odegaard and try to do a through pass rather than cycling back and forth and trying to beat them through wing play

We just missed Calafiori.
Him driving into midfield would made the difference. In second half they basically gave up any box presence for overloading the midfield and gaining the control and we didn’t quite have the answer to that. Having Havertz would’ve also help yesterday.
Did we even struggle??? Because from what I see, you can’t struggle if you don’t even try. I don’t think we even tried in the second half until the 90th minute.
