It’s not a huge difference obviously but psychologically an 8 point gap just feels a lot bigger than 6 points. Opportunity missed tonight for sure. Can only hope they regroup and realise what it’s stake and what the next 5 months require in terms of effort and steel if we’re going to go all the way.

Liverpool was never an easy win, they won the league last year, and are still a competent side when the matchup is right. So in reality, dropping points to previous league winners isn’t even a bad thing tbh.
