  1. I suppose it’s good we don’t have a midfield, otherwise he might try sticking Pahlina on the wing.
Although, considering he scores goals it might not be the worst…

Honestly wouldn’t be opposed to a 3-4-3/5-2-3 for a few games. We have CB depth so why not take advantage of it so we don’t run the fit attacking players into the ground by time their replacements come in.

Ffs, if only we were at a point in the season where we could act quickly and bring in reinforcements 😩

    Guess we’re stuck with this….

That is absolutely honking isn’t it? Worst Spurs squad in decades in my opinion. We were better in the early 2000s

Now this .. is a squad that should be finishing 6th or higher in the league 🤣

Just bring in Enzo & he’ll fix everything, trust me bro 😏

  6. ~~Tonight~~ Tomorrow is Mali vs Senegal, so either Pape or Biss is coming home soon. Crazy to think that Biss might make his way back into the matchday squad lol

  7. Our forwards (including Xavi) have a combined 80 premier league goals. 71 of them are Richy’s (mostly at Everton). We should be fine.

  8. I would like to think this means we’ll be giving opportunities to the youngsters but I am confident it won’t.

RKM isn’t a RW, so I’d honestly keep that position completely empty. Spence isn’t a LB (him playing out of possession led to the last minute goal), so I’d put on Davies there. Somehow our depth is WORSE than this image

  10. This is grim considering the only serious transfer rumors I’ve heard are for a 19 year old LB that’s never played outside Brazil.

What happened to Bentancur? I missed last nights game so I’m out of the loop here.

  12. So two attackers, three defenders and one keeper on the bench and the two attackers are teenagers, whilst we have another teenager starting in central midfield. Yikes.

Honestly, it looks like the crisis in defence last year has switched to a crisis in attack and midfield. Frank has been very uninspiring, but his job is as difficult as Ange’s was last year.

Either way, it’s time to buy some serious reinforcements this January window. Even some experienced mid table players will do if we can’t aim higher. We already have enough younger talent with potential playing.

  14. If the rumors are true and Dom is still alive, it helps alot as Richy can play wide if needed.

  15. In hindsight we probably should have kept Donley around as he’s the only youth midfielder we have that could possibly do a job. Abbott is back but injured, and I’m not sure Olusesi is ready but at this rate he might have to be.

  16. If either VDV or Romero goes out, it would look comparable to Ange’s injury crisis. I don’t think Thomas can handle it. We are fighting for survival.

Don’t worry lads we’re signing a 19 year old left back from Brazil with zero prem experience. Problems are solved.

  18. This feels like someone with a monkey claw wished for better centre-back cover last season.

Good lord this is just beyond pathetic and depressing and inexcusable.

Edit: 5 positions with only one player available. Unreal.

  20. Hello paper-thin-squad-depth my old friend~~ You’ve barged your way into my life once again~~

Poor squad. Mid table team and we’re only a couple of positions lower than we should be. Doesn’t excuse the dross and lack of effort week in week out, but anyone saying this is a top 6 squad is deluded.
