When he left us I watched a video of every one of his Premier League goals. The amount that hit the inside of the side netting is quite phenomenal. Same as most of his penalties. Outstanding finisher.

I honestly didn’t realise how spoiled we were to have him until I watch Richie and Co fluff shots and chances. I thought all strikers could bang in goals from any angle with any part of their body when presented with chances.

I’ll say it till I’m blue in the face, that goal away at Leicester is probably the best finish I’ll ever see. To be running fast, pushed, tripped then slam it into the ground so it bounces over the goalkeeper.

Remember when we were objectively a better football team than Arsenal?
Remember when Arsenal realised this and invested heavily in the first team and Hale End?
Remember when we finished 17th and they finished 2nd?
Remember when they absolutely destroyed us at home?
Remember when they ended up winning the league while we went through another manager dealing with an underprepared squad?

We need to stop looking to the past and move on. Kane is a great finisher and pretty much guarantees 20+ goals per season but he’s too old for the Premier League now. We can’t build a team around him, we need a twenty something that has the potential to be the next Kane.

Think if we bring back Poch he’ll come back to finish his career with us? Given how he is playing right now and if Bayern can win significant trophies he is in with a shout for the Balon D’Or and dependent on his WC performance. If he can achieve his ultimate goal, and we get Poch back after the WC, would Harry come back in 2027?

If anything, I am sure Kane is feeling very justified in having left the Club. He will come back an idol-no doubt- but not before the end of his playing career. And based on recent performances- who could blame him!
