Look with the amount of teams in for this kid he’s probably going to be good but I pray we have some experience lined up in other positions.

Id love to believe this chap is a statement signing. A signing of intent. The next big Star… But I’ve just heard it too many times now.

What are the chances of a young 19 year old left back coming to English premier league football and being top class?

I know he’s not going to come in and immediately improve the team.

But there’s just something about a new signing that does scratch an itch

  4. I’m sure this random 19 year old Brazilian full back will solve every single issue within the club. This must’ve been what the Lewis family meant by showing ambition and wanting to challenge in every competition!

  5. Love a pletti “no no bayern were never actually in for him”

Its a shame of the current terrible vibes cos it seems like a really good pick up this kid

  6. I just don’t understand why this wasn’t wrapped up before the window started so he could have been here on January 1. Santos hasn’t played a game since December 7th and LB has been an obvious need since the summer. Why can we line up a departure for Jan 1 but not an arrival?

  7. Signing talented young players is good thing. I know its all doom and gloom now but Spurs are a ways away from being where we want to be.

  8. Glad we finally targeted a LB. Desperately need to get Spence back over to the right and get some rotation going. Porro has looked ragged for a couple of months now

  9. If it means Djed spends more time on the right I’m not bothered at the price we’re in for!

Plettentwerp seems incapable of making a post where he doesn’t sound like a salty bitch.

  11. We seem to only be able to work on one deal at a time so need to get this done and move onto other positions

  12. I’ll have tears in my eyes the first team he puts a cross into the box with his left foot

  13. Despite him being young I think he will be good enough to be a backup. Lots of potential for growth as well.

Glad we are finally getting fullback cover, 2 years overdue

Somewhat cheap and will be depth this year so we can spend more on midfielders and winger to fill in for the injured players. When udogie gets healthy Spence can flip back to rb so Porro won’t be as overplayed.

  15. Cant wait for him to be loaned out and then feature in some cup game 2 years from now

Inb4 he goes to them lot or Marinakis threatens his family and he goes to Forest.

As long as we get experience in more important positions this is fine. VDV covering anyway.

My cousin who’s a Santos fan, said he played really well last season which just ended. So let’s see

    so much negativity.

I’d much rather see us picking up young players with very high potential than big money transfers desired by a manager who will probably be gone in June, and replaced by a manager who may or may not want said established big money player.

we are not finishing in CL spots, we will be lucky to get EL. We just should be hoping to just steady the ship, stop the bleeding, get through this season, and make smart calculated moves in the summer.

  20. Glad we’re getting someone, but utterly ridiculous we couldn’t get a simple depth LB in the summer when it’s been an issue for multiple seasons now

  21. Kinsky, Spence, Vuskovic, van de Van, Souza, Gray, Bergvall, Xavi, Tel, Melia, Yang

2030 will definitely be our year.

  22. This signing is everything! He’s gonna fix everything! He’s gonna make the crops grow again! And he’s gonna do it all in one week!
